Kim Goldman

Managing Director, Lucky Plush Productions

Kim Goldman, Lucky Plush Productions’ managing director, works in tandem with Artistic Director Julia Rhoads to carry out the company’s mission. Kim leads Lucky Plush’s team of part-time staff, interns and volunteers in marketing, fundraising, event and tour planning and budgeting. She is the project manager for Lucky Plush’s two sustainability initiatives–Creative Partners, a development staff share, and Volunteer Cultivation Lab, a pipeline of student and professional volunteers, managed by an annual Fellow.

Before her role as Managing Director, Kim was a Lucky Plush collaborating ensemble member for five years and performed in eight LPP works at venues like the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago (IL), Jacob’s Pillow (MA), Hancher Auditorium (IA), Steppenwolf Garage (IL), Spring to Dance (MO), Links Hall (IL), among others. Kim has served on the part-time dance faculties of Columbia College Chicago and Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington. She received an MFA in Dance Performance and Choreography from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, a BFA in Dance and a BS in Psychology from the University of Illinois at Champaign Urbana.
