Director of Marketing and Communications, Classic Stage Company

Phil Haas currently serves as the Director of Marketing and Communications for Classic Stage Company (CSC), an award-winning Off-Broadway theater company committed to reimagining classic stories for contemporary audiences. At CSC, Phil oversees all marketing and communication strategies with a focus on advertising, sales, audience development, and loyalty. Phil also serves as the co-chair of the Advisory Board of Audience 360, a marketing, research, and advocacy tool for New York-based arts organizations with a growing database over 6.5 million unique households. Prior to his role at CSC, Phil spent over six years with the Off-Broadway theater company Primary Stages, where he increased institutional branding, strengthened subscription sales, and enhanced the company’s digital footprint. Phil has also held similar marketing positions at Off-Broadway’s York Theatre Company and with the New York production of Blue Man Group. A proud alumnus of Muhlenberg College, Phil has worked extensively as a freelance marketing and PR consultant for a variety of independent projects including cabaret acts, book launches, solo shows, and benefit concerts.
