Charlie Wade

Senior Vice President for Marketing and Business Operations, Seattle Symphony

Charlie Wade is the Sr. Vice President for Marketing and Business Operations for the Seattle Symphony and Benaroya Hall where he is responsible for all earned income and overseeing the organization’s efforts to continually improve the customer experience. 

Before coming to Seattle, Wade served as a consultant to a number of orchestras, including the New York Philharmonic, where he led a cross-departmental effort between the Philharmonic and Lincoln Center focused on improving the customer experience. 

Wade served for 15 years as the VP for Marketing and Symphony Pops at the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. While in Atlanta, he led the development of the orchestra-world’s first predictive programming model, which is now widely in use across the industry. Wade is a founding member of small group of orchestra marketing professionals who have produced several ground-breaking studies including the Patron Growth Initiative now in it’s third iteration.
