Membership and Individual Giving Officer, El Museo del Barrio

Stephanie Rodriguez a creative writer from Queens devoted to the preservation and exploration of visual arts, music and storytelling—entering her sixth year as a Development professional in the arts and culture sector.  A resident of East Harlem, Rodriguez works diligently with individuals and businesses alike in to present and preserve the cultural fabric of communities of color in New York City.
 
Stephanie currently serves as the Membership and Individual Giving Officer for El Museo del Barrio— the nation’s first museum for Latin American and Caribbean art— where she’s fundraised over $550,000 in individual solicitations and was instrumental in establishing the museum’s first core group of young philanthropists.
 
Prior to her role at El Museo, she served as Development Manager for the Hispanic Federation where she implemented various fundraising campaigns and outreach strategies. Stephanie is a proud Board Member of Media Masters Alliance—an organization that focuses on the advancement of LGBT and allied youth through literacy and media training.
